Our Story

We started this company back in 2015 because I believed for years that representation outside of rainbow products was non-existant.

We have created lapel pins, buttons, patches, flags, stickers with being inclusive to all of our LGBTQ customers.

We are LGBTQ owned and operated.

A native of Youngstown Ohio, Kristin grew up always knowing she was different.  After graduating from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems, she relocated to Florida to work for a Fortune 100 company.  Unfulfilled in her IT career, she joined the United States Navy.  Shortly before her enlistment was up she created Patches Ohoul.  The nickname she earned from playing Dodgeball on the mess decks all the time.  Patches Ohoul stands out as different. 

She started this company in 2015 as a way to create and produce lapel pins, flags and patches for products outside the rainbow.  She currently lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts with her partner and son.
